Arabic OCR — common questions
Is this Arabic OCR tool free?
Yes. You can convert up to 10 images a day for free, with no sign-up. If you need to process documents in volume, we build that into your own systems.
Do you store my images?
No. The image is sent to the model to read the text and is not saved. We only keep an anonymous count of how many times the tool was used, to enforce the daily limit.
Does it work with Arabic and English on the same page?
Yes. Invoices, IDs and official letters often mix both, so each line is kept in its original language, in reading order, with numbers and dates copied exactly as written.
Can it read handwritten Arabic?
It will try, and clear handwriting often comes out well, but accuracy is noticeably lower than for printed text. Anything it cannot read is marked [unreadable] rather than guessed.
Can I convert a PDF?
Not directly yet — upload a screenshot or photo of each page. For multi-page PDFs at volume, that is exactly the kind of pipeline we build for clients.
How accurate is it?
Very accurate on clean printed text. Accuracy drops with blur, glare, low light, skewed photos and small print. For business use where errors matter, we add validation against your own records and a human review step.
